Looking back at my time in Darwin, I really took it for granted… the weather! At the time it felt like I was running in soup, but now as daylight savings has finished and it’s cooler down quicker and quicker – I realise how quickly and easily you can loose motivation when it’s cool. It’s time to start forcing myself to get out there, I know I feel better for exercising – pysically and mentally.
Anyway, I went for a quick run the other night (well they were actually hill sprints). I used my new 3/4 2XU tights that I got at the yearly clearance sale last weekend, and wore my old nike long sleeve zip jacket over a singlet – boy was I cold! More than anything it was my ears that were cold – I think I need to invest in a big headband thing to cover my ears!
So I thought I’d put together a little fitness finds for today featuring some running gear that I’ve been looking at! I love the colour of those Brooks, and I’ve had my current ones for a while and know I’d like to get some new one’s before I start really training for my 1/2 marathon soon to start wearing them in – and those Run Swiftly tech long sleeve crew’s; if they’re as good as the tank top versions, I know I’ll be stocking up – those don’t rub and they’re the best! And I LOVE that New Balance jacket too! :)
